Gore Ozon shorts are the best shorts I've used in a long time. I was hesitant to spend this much money, but I was also suffering saddle sores in my "old" shorts (and they were pretty worn out). These were recommended by a triathlete and lived up to the recommendation. Fit is excellent and true to size, and the padding is just right - for me. It is thick enough in the right places but unnoticed when riding. I've now used them for about 700 miles, including a 400 mile trip where they were washed and worn every day. Worth the money!!!
