Product Description
The Safe Turn Indicator is a small, portable, automatic bicycle indicator that easily clips to the wristband that is provided or to your own cycling glove. The Safe Turn Indicator does not require any special action from the cyclist, unlike other bicycle indicators. When your hand is raised to indicate a turn, the internal tilt switch detects the change in position and the orange ultrabright LED's start to blink. The Safe Turn Indicator offers the following advantages: You do not have to learn to use the device, as its use can be combined with your regular riding style. To accommodate for individual riding styles, the base can be adjusted at 15 degree intervals to allow the tilt switch to function at any angle. Containing 3 LED's, the Indicator is extremely visible and flashes just as a vehicle/motorcycle does. It will keep blinking as long as your hand is raised. It is portable, lightweight and has a low energy consumption. It is CE certified and comes with a 1 year manufacturer's warranty. And most importantly, the Safe Turn Indicator promotes safe cycling.SimilarProduct

works fine for me

I use one and I have a friend who uses Safe Turn too. Works well, the initial set-up is a bit fiddly but once tuned it works. It really makes the difference (the car drivers notice your turn signals).
Light was non functional and appears poorly built

I really wanted to like this light. Unfortunately, I can't get the one I was sent to turn on, at all. It's possible I was sent a light with dead batteries (it seems to be shipped with everything connected), but I don't want to buy new batteries that I can't use for anything else, for a light that might not work.
The on/off switch to enable the light is flimsy and does not provide any visual or physical feedback to show you that you've turned the light on or off (or even triggered the switch). There is just a very faint 'click' that I can hear if I'm listening really carefully. If I was on my bike I would not be able to tell if I had turned it on based on this click, unless I was in a very, very quiet place and maybe holding the light up to my head. This does not seem like a good design for a device that is supposed to be important to my visibility when turning in traffic. It should flash in a sequence to tell you that you've turned it on and the battery works, or that it is about to turn itself off.
It appears to have a very thin seal to make it waterproof, but the seal doesn't seem very robust. I don't think I would trust it to keep water out.
It uses two watch-type batteries held in with flimsy looking holders. I could only get one of them to release a battery, but this is partially because I was afraid of bending them and making the holder useless.
The LEDs also don't look like anything special, and there is no reflector or anything behind them. So all in all, it isn't of the quality I was hoping for, and it doesn't work as shipped.
The dream of a biking commuter did not come true...
by .. W.Busch (Rocket City, AL)
I wanted to be safe before turning directions on my bike in the early morning dawn and bought two, for each arm one.
1. It is almost impossible to setup the piece to work by arm movement, sometimes it'll work sometimes not.
2. It flashes with a very high frequency only for 1 second, cannot be adjusted.
Result: Good intention - but poor realization.
Bikers, stay away from it.
