Don't buy it!

The one star is because they made my put at least one--it deserves NONE! I did all my homework before buying this for my son from Santa and still made a bad decision. I guess I just didn't believe a bike could be this bad. It was price (despite the other reviewers' cautions) which won me over: $89. Before it even arrived the price dipped to $59 and I see it's now up to $200. So, now the bike is here and the brakes won't adjust to work properly. Furthermore, the chain broke today and is not repairable. Add that the seat is quite uncomfortable and it weighs a ton. It's not worth shipping back, so I'll offer it free on craigslist--with a warning! Now I'll take my son to Target to pick out a new, already put together, WORKING bike. The moral of my story: don't buy it just 'cause it's cheap, especially when it has such bad reviews, especially when it's for your child!!! Just not something I should've bought online.
Good bike, but terrible chain

I felt I should like this one, but unfortunately the chain broke after I have just ridden for just about 500 meters. I don't know why, but that was the first time have such situation. My old bike was 13 years old, without any maintance except changing tubes, but it is still working perfectly, just a little noisy.
BTW: the brakes are really difficult to adjust, just like what others said.

Bike came missing the caps off the brake cables and back rim was bent.After about 4 rides the chain broke off and needs a special tool to put back on.Also the pedels feel like the wiggle when you are trying to peddle fast.Spend the cash somewhere else not on this bike

I ride the bike to go to work. It is not bad to use.
Sometimes the chain is not properly working when I change the gear.
But it is worth to the price.
